    • VERIFY ENGINE WILL START WHEN VERY COLD BUT ENGINE STRUGGLES A LOT TO STAY RUNNING & WHITE SMOKES A LOT FROM THE TAILPIPE & SMELLS LIKE RAW FUEL & THEN IT SEEMS TO RUN OK. ENGINE WILL NOT RESTART AFTER ITS WARMED UP. INSPECT FUEL PRESSURE & ITS ABOUT 79 PSI WHILE CRANKING, ITS WITHIN SPECS. CHECK FOR CODES (CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS NO ON), FOUND NO CODES PRESENT. INSPECT SENSOR ON SCANNER WHILE ENGINE IS RUNNING AT NORMAL OPERATING TEMPERATURE, ALL LOOKS NORMAL EXCEPT THE CYLINDER HEAD TEMPERATURE SENSOR (CHTS) IS SHOWING -12 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT, IT SHOULD BE WELL OVER 180 DEGREES. REPLACE CHTS, RESET COMPUTER & RECHECK, VEHICLE STARTING & OPERATING NORMALLY AT THIS TIME.
